Because you can remove your aligners to eat, there are no dietary restrictions during Invisalign treatment. That means you can keep eating all of your favorite foods.
First, you’ll come to our dental office near Land O’ Lakes for a free Invisalign consultation. Dr. Parikh will examine your mouth and determine if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign treatment.
Once you’re approved for treatment, Dr. Parikh will take molds and images of your mouth, and work with Invisalign to develop your treatment plan. You’ll come back to our office after a few weeks to pick up your first several sets of aligners.
You’ll wear your aligners for at least 20 hours per day, and you’ll typically switch to a new set every two weeks. Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to BayBreeze Dental for a checkup. Dr. Parikh will check on your progress during this appointment, and give you your next several sets of aligners.
You’ll keep coming in for routine check ups until your Invisalign treatment is finished. Then, Dr. Parikh will give you a set of retainers, which you’ll wear at night to keep your teeth from moving. Enjoy your straight new smile!
